German
Sculptor, Roland Zehetmeier
"As
long as I am practicing my work, especially working
with wood, I am still fascinated by human beings.
An almost endless variety of physical, emotional
and spiritual ways will probably supply me for
a lifetime. Of course, an occasional animal
or something abstract crops up now and then, but
right now I am still hooked up with humans."
"As
I work my way into the material, it very often
guides me to a clearer and deeper understanding
of what I want to express, powerful and basic
emotions, hidden deeply within people. Sometimes
complex and intricate beings emerge, woven into
each other, wanting to be touched."
