backing. She machine quilted it. The center
star and corner blocks feature the popular technique of
"fussy cutting" for a kaleidescope effect.
If you look closely, you will see that the rays are identical
cuts from the fabric, giving a mirrored effect.
These very expensive fabrics have beautiful deep pink
and burgundy pansies with gold detail on a textured white
background.
