These are quilts that can be made for you; they are not quilts ready to ship. Quilts take approximately one to three weeks to make. Diane has a sewing schedule, and quilts are made on a "first-paid, first-made" basis. Quilts are mailed via Parcel Post to save you money, but you can have the faster Priority Mail shipping if you wish. See the Ordering page for more payment and delivery info. Star Quilt Vocabulary


	Eleven Row Star: The star has 11 rows, or rings, of diamonds. This star can have up to 11 fabric colors. Available in all sizes of quilts.

	Nine Row Star: The star has 9 rows, or rings, of diamonds. This star can have up to 9 fabric colors. Available in all sizes of quilts.

	Seven Row Star: The star has 7 rows, or rings, of diamonds. This star can have up to 7 fabric colors. Available in all sizes of quilts.

	Five Row Star: The star has 5 rows, or rings, of diamonds. This star can have up to 5 fabric colors. Available in baby size quilts. These make great stars to sew onto your shawls and shirts too! Choose your own colors!

	Borders: There are one or two bands of color around the star. Available in all sizes of quilts except 11 row baby star quilts. See all of the available border styles HERE.

	Finishing your star quilt: There are four different quilting methods available: European hand quilting, Indian hand quilting (shown at left), machine quilting, and old fashioned hand tying. See pictures and descriptions of these techniques HERE.


	Fancy Star: The star has designs, pictures, or appliques in it. These star quilts that Diane has created are NOT available for sale. But for your enjoyment you can see photos of them in the ARCHIVES. There are patterns and kits available for some of these fancy stars, HERE.

	Fancy Border: The outside border area has fancy designs. These borders that Diane has created are NOT available for your star quilt, but just for your viewing enjoyment you can see photos of them in the ARCHIVES.
