gleska," meaning the golden eagle. This gorgeous
star quilt is from the Cheyenne River Reservation in South
Dakota. It's in immaculate condition, is handmade
of 100% cotton, and features a brown eagle with outstretched
wings, set against a blue star surrounded by stars and a
cloud white background. It is very nicely quilted

this can't be made using the fast, modern strip-quilting
method; it's made the old fashioned way, piece by little
piece, and it takes a very long time to make. This quilt
is definitely a keeper to be proud of. The star colors
are yellow, orange, red, purple, green and blue, on a
white background. Quilting is extensive and the stitches
