About Diane's Native American Star Quilts:

Diane has 100% satisfied customers! Not ONE complaint!

What sets Diane's Native American Star Quilts above the rest? Quality craftsmanship and personal attention to your needs. Some of the quilts' borders surrounding the star are beautiful, intricate additions which lend more dimension, color, and value to the quilts. Some star quilts contain 10 or 11 coordinated fabric colors, and some may have up to 1,500 individual fabric pieces, which requires extra labor and materials. See the Happy Customers page!

Can I ask about ordering a custom size quilt? Yes, you sure can! Also, many of Diane's quilts have interchangeable stars and borders, and you can always select your own colors for any quilt too. You can also add designs to one or more corners of your quilt---eagles, pipes, feathers, medicine wheels, etc.

How long will I have to wait for my quilt? It depends on the size of the quilt, and on the quilting method you choose. A star quilt can take anywhere from 1 week to 5 weeks to create. Your star quilt will probably be made for you when you order it, since ready-made quilts are generally not in stock for very long.

How are quilts constructed? Diane's Native American-made star quilts are constructed of the finest cotton fabrics, thread and battings available. Star quilts are created by machine, and are finished with either hand quilting, machine quilting, or old fashioned hand tying (your choice.) Quilts are constructed in a clean, smoke-free environment, in a relaxed, peaceful, loving, good-spirited atmosphere.

What if my quilt is for ceremonial purposes? If requested, star quilts intended for ceremonial use will be smudged (purified, or blessed) with sweetgrass or sage prior to shipment.

What if I'm on a budget? To save money, plain border star quilts are available. And, any of the fancy-border star quilts are available with a simple band border around the star. You may also opt for Diane's Layaway Plan. You pick the amount that you pay each month. The only rule is that you must make some kind of payment every month. When your quilt is paid for it will immediately be shipped to you.

Can I get accessories to match my quilt? Yes. Matching shams and pillowcases are available for any of Diane's quilts. See the Shams and Pillowcases Gallery.

Are "quilt tops only" available? Yes. Add your own backing and batting, and save lots of money. A sewing machine isn't needed if you hand-tie or hand-quilt your quilt.

Are patterns available for these quilts? Available patterns are listed on the Kits and Patterns page.
