Designing Your Own Custom Star Quilt

So you want to design your own custom star quilt....   And have Diane turn it into a reality for you.   WONDERFUL!!!!!   

To get started, there are six things you will need to decide on:

1.  What SIZE of a star quilt do you want?  Baby size is 40" square, and crib size is 40" X 60".  Full/twin size is 64" X 88", and king/queen size is 90" X 100".  Any other size is a CUSTOM size.

2.  Which STAR do you want?  You can see all available stars HERE and HERE.  (You won't lose this page by clicking on the links.)  Sometimes COLOR can decide your star for you.  See #4.

3.  Which BORDER do you want?  Fancy borders can be seen HERE.  Plain Borders can be seen HERE.

4.  What COLORS do you want?  You can see all 63 available fabric colors HERE.  Tip:  Count the number of colors that are in the star that you've chosen.  Most stars have a different number of colors. 

5.  Do you want any NATIVE AMERICAN DESIGNS OR APPLIQUES on your star quilt?  See them HERE.

6.  Which of the four QUILTING TECHNIQUES do you want?  You can see photos and descriptions of them HERE.
