So
many smiling faces, so nice to see! These wonderful Me-Wuk Indian
friends from the Buena Vista Rancheria in California hold a baby
star quilt that's for their raffle to benefit their childcare
organization. Thanks goes to Rita Chaske who sent the pictures.

Celia Hewett-Hook made this outstanding Turtle Island star quilt
using one of my kits. I'm totally impressed at how you did this,
Celia! Hope to see more of your quilts here. Awesome job! Celia
made this one for her brother. |

Connie
Biblis submitted this photo of an ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS star quilt
that she made. It was based on the "Prairie Star" quilt
pattern offered on my website. Connie had NO PATTERN for the border,
but she was able to reconstruct my border almost flawlessly. Wow,
I'm impressed, Connie! It looks better than mine! LOL

Marcia
Guza made this stunning blue star quilt that uses print fabrics
for her grandson, Lincoln. She hand quilted it, and look at the
border, it's marvelous! And that sweet little smiling face is
definitely captivating everyone's attention!

Awwww , now who could resist this lil sweetie? Susan Newell, thank
you so much for sharing! I just love this photo of your grandson,
"Kicking Bull." Or as you call him, Geronimo with dimples!
So cute!

Erica! I've lost your last name! I hope you see this and email me
so I can credit you with this wonderful photo of your wedding. About
the bear paw and medicine wheel designs in this picture: This star
quilt may look deceptively easy to make, but it's actually fairly
complex, using both applique and advanced piecing techniques. |

Deborah Lord designed this star quilt all by herself, and commissioned
me to make the star for her. She added borders all around, then
layered and quilted it herself. Deborah's color combinations are
beyond wow-- she has a way of picking colors that is really very
remarkable. Awesome job, Deborah!

This
"Six Point Star" quilt was created by Doris Williams,
using my pattern. Red, black and white is a powerful color combination.
Just absolutely spellbinding, Doris! |

What a beautiful blue star quilt! Jan Egge made this gorgeous star
quilt, surrounding the star with bias-cut strips. Nice touch! She
made this quilt by using my book, "Creating the Native American
Star Quilt, Vol. 1: A Beginner's Workbook." |

Plenty of horses are frolicking on this nice little star quilt
made by Rebecca Ballantine. Love that red and black combo! The
border colors are PERFECT for this star quilt, matching the horses.
Rebecca says she made this quilt for a vet who wasn't doing great,
thus the horses. She made this quilt using my star quilt book.

Rebecca
Ballantine also created this absolutely WONDERFUL star quilt all
on her own without using a pattern. Pink and green were my mother's
favorite colors, so this beauty really stole my heart. Nice job,
Rebecca! |
